Job Responsibilities:
• Drive the Business Unit's (BU’s) responses to bids, RFPs, listings, adoption submissions, and other types of proposals
• Perform RFP opportunity analyses
• Establish appropriate tactical steps for a winning bid/proposal/submission and create project plans
• Ongoing cross-matrix management and coordination of company resources and departments needed to both examine and create responsive bids and proposals
• Serve as a subject matter expert when possible for the product content to ensure a cohesive proposal
• Ensure customization to the opportunity for optimal award potential, addressing all bid specifications (compliance to the opportunity)
• Ensure deadline delivery of all go-forward bids
• Create and maintain a system of content assets to help with faster, accurate preparation of higher numbers of proposals (e.g., templates for products and services)
• Complete FOIA analyses for 1) comparative product information and 2) proposal quality/tactics
• Contribute to developing and refining the springboard/knowledge base/content library and the proposal document template process
• Prepare content and resources for smooth proposal development
• Special Projects including communication and partnership with the Business Units for specific products, process improvement within team, covering Associate tasks when needed

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• 1+ years of experience in proposal writing and/or development in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience with heavy bid production environment preferred (RFPs, and proposals for a range of dollar values)
• Ability to adhere to immovable deadlines with excellent writing, editing, and design skills
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Office) and Google suite
• Familiarity with project workflow tools
• Exercise judgment to establish which projects take precedence over others
• Solid problem solving and ability to create and manage plans of action
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail when reviewing specifications and other documents for accuracy
• Must be comfortable with Web searching, researching, and data wrangling
